Are you totally against drilling and having a sump? A sump gives you more options for equipment. You will be able to use a larger skimmer, pump, etc.
I am not against the AIO kits, I'm just asking questions.
 
Not against, never had, currently have a Biocube 32. I like the AIO concept but also want what will give me the best solution for success....
 
If you really don't want a sump I think you are better off with a good HOB skimmer and power filter versus an AIO. Here's what I did on a 75 gallon set up that I could not do a sump. That's a ReefOcto 2000 skimmer and a modified Seachem power filter mounted on one end.
