I noticed some antennae on an acro. I looked at it with a magnifying glass and cut the branch, but the bug is still there! Does anyone know what it is? Is it harmful? Could it become an infestation?

Could be coral boring spionid worm. I have a few that come and go with no big problems. But sometimes they may multiply and stunt the coral.

This is the surgery results!

The worm is clearly visible lodged at the base of the acro and the tunnel in which it lives.
