Chrysiptera springeri - Blue Sapphire Damselfish
I had some of these fight each other in a 50 gallon QT, but they are less aggressive than other damsels that are commonly available. As a plus they’ll eat flatworms!
I'm going to have to think it through in a couple months. I hate losing fish, it hurts and if I do add some more I want it to work. Maybe my reef is just pre set for 4 fish only.

That may be why the tang is getting aggressive - My 2” bristletooth is calm and collected but that’s a 4’ tank (48”) with 5’ diagonal. The wrasses aren’t the issue I think the tang is, they get VERY territorial and if they aren’t a convict they do tail slapping which uses their scalpel at the base of the tail. The only thing that would make a wrasse seem aggressive is the flashing the males tend to do.
The tang was only aggressive with the new melanurus wrasse. The pintail wrasse was aggressive with the gramma.
That’s new, I know fairies can get aggressive but it never came across to me that pintails were one of the aggressive ones. Then again, I always see these 1-2” transitioning males so that may be why they aren’t as aggressive!
