Help with choosing new lighting!

I all, i have a ea reef pro 900 the size is w 20" h 24" L 35.5" im planing on keeping sps mainly with a few low level lps and zoas. I currently run a tmc luminare but the colours just dont seem right.

So i would like your thoughts please!

I would rather run leds over t5s keep the electric down and tank cool.

Also ideally would like to do it for a reasonable price (if possible)

Been looking at radions and ai primes

I know you're looking at AI and Radions, but a pair of Kessil A360WE's over that tank would look amazing. Have you considered them at all?

I have not but i will have a look into them ! How do they rate against the others ?

I'm extremely bias in my opinion ;) but I prefer the kessils over the others for a couple reasons. Firstly the shimmer that kessils give off is unmatched along with the color blending. You cannot pick out a single color from the LED light in the tank. And their ease of use, you literally pick a color percentage and you're done. No slider bars to adjust or mess with. And the pendant design matched with the 90 degree arms gives for a stylish look. Their only downfall is that they do not come controllable out of the box. You have to either control them with the Kessil Spectral Controller, or any 0-10V controller. Or the Apex and Reef Keeper are able to control them as well. Or if you'd prefer, they do have knobs on them, turn them to what you like, and get a simple on-off outlet timer :)

They do look nice ! Are they very expensive ?

Brand new they run $350 a piece, but occasionally you can find them for sale on the forum for 200-300. But considering that they'll grow anything you put under them, you won't need to upgrade later on :) Another nice thing about them is Kessil's customer service is excellent. I've never had an issue that they wern't quick to resolve for me. Again I'm extremely bias in my opinion as I've never used anything but Kessils...but then again I've never had to lol. So hopefully users of the other lights will chime in about the other lights. It's going to basically boil down to what features do you find attractive about each light, the price point, and the looks of the lights over your tank. There is also the option of the black box lights such as the SB Reef lights or the Reef Breeders which come in at a lower price, and will grow any coral you put under it.

Il have to check the uk price probally more! The light i have (came with the tank cost the previous owner £400 so not a cheap unit but the colours just dont do it for me at all! )
