There are some that say gonis need manganese and iron in the water. Julian sprung is a proponent of this theory. They shouldn’t need overwhelming amounts, but if you have zero if either they will die supposedly. I’m not sure if gfo strips these elements from the water column but I would remove gfo and dose iron and manganese and see what happens.
