Help with hanging ATI fixture

I just picked up a "new" 24" ATI power module hybrid fixture. It did not come with a hanging kit. I thought I would be able to use my kit from my hanging kit from my ATI Sunpower, but it doesn't look possible. All hanging kits I see for the ATI fixtureslook like the one I have. Any suggestions?

It looks like you need to feed the hanging cable from the inside out on thew new fixture. Post a full pic of the new fixture.

It's possible I'm not seeing this correctly, but unfortunately, the cable has the "ball" stoppers on both ends and can't be removed. See image of all I see for sale as far as ATI hanging kit and you can see the piece with ball stops is one single piece of cable and they're not removable.

The cable with the balls on the end is meant to be that way so it stays inside the fixture housing. There has to be spots on each end of the new fixture to insert this part. Maybe 1/8" holes?
The long cable ( one that goes to the ceiling ) releases from the bottom part by pushing in the small inlet part on top and pulling the cable out.

Look like the cable with the ball already installed from the factory, therefore you may have to cut one of the ball end
Insert to fixture and install cable end repair kit

Zoasaholoc, This is what I was thinking. Cut one, thread it through and connect some type of cable stop. I would imagine these are size specific. I don't have a tool to measure cable thickness. Anyone know the size?

Another option might be to cut a slit from end of fixture to hole so I can slide the cable in. That's how my ATI Sunpower fixture is. Metal seems a bit thicker ion the hybrid fixture, and slit would have to be longer. See photos.Would a Dremel bit do the job?

What option sounds best?

Hmm that one is odd. Missing the slits on the ends to insert those balls under…

See here. There are supposed to be slots on each end. You remove the end plate, insert the wires and reattach end plate.

Option 2 sound good, it quicker

Have seen that video and even ATI customer support said ALL powermodule and Sunpower fixtures use the same hanging kit and have slits that allow installation of kit. Maybe a production error.

@zoasholic what kind of Dremel bit would work?

Thanks. They must come preinstalled despite what ATI customer service said regarding ALl powermodule and Sunpower fixtures having slots.

Option 2 sound good, it quicker

I hung the fixture today, and after all that work, I can't stand that huge black cord hanging down. Anything I can do to make that a little less obtrusive?

Second guessing now if I should have gone with my old hydra 26hd fixtures.

On fixtures like that I usually take them straight to the wall and attach them so there is little or no slack. Then straight down.
You might be able to find some light colored cord wrap to help blend it in with the light colored back ground.
