Hello All,
I have come across an issue which I think is Ich in my quarantine tank. It’s a 15-gal(57L) nano which I using as my QC tank while my new 86 gal (326L) main tank has been establishing.
My bristletooth tang looks like it has got Ich the only addition in the last week have been two Trochus snails and a gold tip new torch. He lives in the 15 gal with a coral banded shrimp and since I have removed the a rock and sand(to seed new tank) he has had less places to hide so I made the frag chairs so he can dart around in.
Hi have few questions.
If I remove the coral banded shrimp out of the nano and put him on to my main tank can it transfer the Ich to fish in main display(1 Blue tang and 2 clowns)?
Did the Ich come from the tourch and snails? I did not transfer any water when I introduced them.
How do I get rid of the ich without killing my corals which are still in my nano tank?
