So I have to remove my fish from my DT and put them in a Hospital tank to treat for ich. (6 fish total) I've never done it before so advice is appreciated. Currently bought:
2- 20g long tanks (want to do transfer method)
Cupramine
Prazipro
Air pump w/ sponge or HOB (have both. Dont know which would work better
Heater
Hanna copper checker
Pvc elbows.

Anything I'm missing? What's the best way to go about it?
How do you keep ammonia down without lowering copper levels and restarting the treatment countdown time?

Bottled bacteria, like BIO-Spira, and water changes.

Personally, I've used HOB filters with sponge in them in place of any cartridge AND an air stone.

Make sure the QT has some bacteria to help create a little more stable hospital tank, and the water isnt as nearly as harsh on the new hospital visitors !

Cycle the tanks first with biospira and ammonia, takes about 1 week. Then you dont have to worry about ammonia. Dont use cupramine, use copper power.

Everything you ask is easily found by searching, check the sticky.
