Help with Jack o'lantern

Hi all,
While removing the plug of this frag, one piece broke and went flying to the floor. I rinsed it and glued it onto a new plug, but now is showing some discoloration (12hrs later). Do you think it is a goner? Should i cut that piece and re-glue? or do you think it can recover?

In lower light,lower flow it should recover just fine. They like lower light anyways.

Like everyone said, lower light and lower flow and make sure your Alk levels are good.
