I have a unique mount for my main lights(2xReefi pro 2.1) and they sit inside a t5 hybrid. The unit is fantastic for my application, but the t5's ballast and electronics are shot.
The goal is to gut each wing and install a Orphek or4, or some other bar inside each wing.
I mention the OR4 because it has T slot that I could slide a bolt head into, then drill holes in the wing to mount the fixture.
The problem I have is what size bolt head should I use, or is there a special type of fastener that would fit the T slot better?

This is the fixture below and you can see each wing that has a hinge that I can fold the wings in or out

Each endcap just has a couple screws so it's easy to take these apart

This is how I mounted my hybrid. I bought 2 of the Orphek OR4 bars and used the new Aura acrylic mount and then placed the hybrid on top. It looks like it's floating.

You actually use your t5 fixture, but mine is just there to hold my lights.
I was wanting to put the or4 lights where the t5's are

What is better a hms rail or Rms? I want the most sturdy option and my tank from end to end is 49 1/4 in.
The RMS rail is a bit thick and imposing over the tank. The HMS is more customizable in the long run but it requires more work on your part to cut, setup and install.
