Hello! So I'm gonna try to articulate this question best as possible. So I currently have a 220g and I bought a 300g off of someone so it came with live rocks and such and I'm simply looking to upgrade and move the contents of the 220 into the 300. So I have all the live rock from the 300 sitting In a bucket with no water(as it was the only way I could transport it) and will not be able to set the 300 up and get water in it for atleast a week. Will the rock sitting in a bucket for a week kill it off? Would I be best just transferring the contents of my 220 with all the live rock and such and then slowly adding the rocks from the 300 as needed or is there a better way. I'm open to suggestions I know its not the best option but its currently what I have to work with. Thanks !

the rock will certainly die without water, and even with water there will be some extent of die-off unless you have heat and circulation. If possible, put them in a large trash can, stock tank etc. where you can provide circulation and temp regulation.
