I reached out to Abyzz for help with this but their technical specialist is away for the next two weeks. I'm hoping to get some insight here.
How would you recommend plumbing the pumps to the bulkheads in my situation? The bulkheads are in the corners of the sump so I can't use a straight piece of pipe.
I do have room for a 1.5" union and two 45 degree fittings but this would only give me about 4.5" of straight pipe coming out of the pump until the first 45 degree turn. I'm not sure if having two 45's so close to the pump outlet is OK or not, .
I saw another post where someone used 1.5" high pressure silicone tubing and 316SS hose clamps that they got from Abyzz. Would you recommend using the silicone tubing instead of hard plumbing?
These pumps are located about 12 feet below the return bulkheads on my tank. All return plumbing is 1.5".
