Hello so I've been trying to get rid of algae in my reef tank and to start I tested my parameters because I have not tested them in a while, my alk was 170ppm according to my hanna meter and my calcium was 675ppm which is pretty high but not really a concern. The tank is a 20 tall and has an 'overfiltered sump' my phosphate levels are apparently zero which I'm not buying, but I'm working on it. Anyways I want to get my calcium into a normal value, How does reef fusion work do I need to add both can I just add reef fusion 2 to raise the alkalinity if theres already calcium too high in the water? If not, How should I go about dosing alkalinity while I let calc drop. Also I use all seachem products, so possibly an alk alternative from them you recommend. I like the 2 part system for stability but might need to alter my recipe.
