I have been using Rio pumps for awhile for my skimmer along with a venturi inlet. But mow the impeller is damaged and I cannot find another Rio. I also cannot find a replacement impeller. I bought a pump in Amazon but I cannot hook the venturi to itz. When I bought the skimmer it came with an eco plus which is where I go the venturi valve inlet. I could use some tips on which pump to use or which ones I might be able to attach the venturi inlet. I do not want to spend alot

For starters; it sounds like you’re trying to use a traditional lift pump vaned impeller for moving air, which isn’t what they are intended to do, and likely why yours was destroyed!

You want a pinwheel/needle wheel style impeller, these are intended to move air as well as water, and are what all modern internal pump skimmers use!

Is this one of those old school skimmers where the rio pump just presses into the skimmer? I had one many moons ago. If it is would an mj (maxi jet) work out? The Rio mine used back in the day was identical to an MJ600 or 900, I don’t remember.
