This trigger went through hypo around 2 months ago. Had him in a stock tank for the time being. Didn’t see him last night or this morning before work then saw this after work.

Is he saveable What’s the best plan of action ? Not sure I recognize this virus. Seems to be swimming and breathing fine

What other fish species are in with it?

Since the stock tank doesn’t have lateral viewing, it’s tough to see things develop…..

So if the tang is symptom free, I’d say this is a generalized bacterial infection. You could consider treating it with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic in a hospital tank. Either Neomycin or Kanamycin would be two choices.

Agree on bacterial and fish should be treated in a separate tank using Seachem Kanaplex along with an air stone added

Likely irritation such as flukes or exposed skin from bacterial issue
Did you add water the same temperature as display tank?
Is fish breathing normal or labored?
