I have a 8 month old mixed 125g. Currently I have 2 fire fish. I would like to start to add some new fish. I will be getting a trio of Lyretail Anthias and a couple of tangs. I would also like to add some Wrasses. I was looking at the Cirrhilabrus Complexes chart but im having trouble understanding it.

Now can I have multiple fairy wrasses and flasher wrasses? Any particular order they should be added? Ok to have multiple males and females?

Im thinking of some of these wrasses to add:

Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse
Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse
Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse
Labout's Fairy Wrasse
Redfin Wrasse
Yellowfin Flasher Wrasse
Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse
McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
Katherine's Fairy Wrasse
Lineatus Fairy Wrasse
Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse
Orange-Back Fairy Wrasse
Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse
Naoko's Fairy Wrasse
Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse
Filamented Flasher Wrasse
Linespot Flasher Wrasse
Leopard Wrasse

Now im sure all theses wrasses cant go in together but is there a way to select the ones that can and in what order and if they can be multiples as in male and female?

So its a safe bet to just get 1 of each (fairy and flasher) and they will eventually turn into a male? Im guessing that mixing diffrent flashers like a Yellowfin Flasher Wrasse and a Filamented Flasher Wrasse is out of the questions as they are both flashers? Same goes for the fairies. I cant mix a Katherine's Fairy Wrasse with a Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse because they are both fairies? Or is it just that I cant add 2 of the same fairy/flasher but can mix fairies/ flashers?

I think its safer to get 1 of ech different species becuse if they do turn all male they wont fight as might considering there not the same species

That makes sence. Guess now all that is left is to see which ones can live together and what order to place them in.

Ok. So after a fellow reefer explaining the Cirrhilabrus Complexes Chart I now have a better understanding and it makes a world of a difference... I think!

So if I guide myself with the chart, this is what I came up with.

In order of adding to the tank...

Pink Streaked Wrasse
Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse
Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse
Katherine's Fairy Wrasse
Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse
Naoko's Fairy Wrasse
Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse
Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse

Ofcourse this isnt an official list as im not sure if this is a compatible list. Thats where I need your help! Also would like a flasher but I dont think theres any on that chart so I couldnt include them.

That should be a great tank! I know Evolved must be really busy helping fellow reefers and hopefully he makes an appearance here and helps me out a bit also.

Based on the first list versus this new list, yes. :)
Pink Streaked Wrasse
Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse
Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse
Katherine's Fairy Wrasse
Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse
Naoko's Fairy Wrasse
Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse
Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse
The only risky choices here are mostly naoko and a bit with the red velvet. It will depend on the attitudes of those you end up with, but either could be a real problem.
Also would like a flasher but I dont think theres any on that chart so I couldnt include them.
The chart is only for Cirrhilabrus - Paracheilinus (flashers - different genus) are not included.
But the two genera do mix fine together.

Thank you very much for your expertise @evolved So no Red Velvet or Naoko as I want to keep it as peaceful as possible. I will exchange those for flasher wrasses and maybe 1 of the Leopards. So do the same rules apply to the flasher wrasses? I can add 2 or 3 of different flashers like 1 McCosker's Flasher Wrasse and 1 Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse?

Yes, various species of Paracheilinus will mix okay together.

Naoko’s fairy wrasse is my favorite one, I can’t have a fish tank without it
