Hello, my fish have been disappearing and I don’t know if it’s a 1.5” pistol shrimp, or a killer coral. It’s been killing my shrimps, and fish. I have huge corals so please let me know if the following are known to eat fish:
One in the picture - I think it’s a bubble coral that’s evolved
A meat coral that’s 6” big

It's not the pistol. What kind of fish do you have and what kind disappeared? What do you have for clean up crew?

I've never heard of corals eating fish. You need a full round of test results. The most likely cause is a disease or something in the water, a toxin, killing things and them being eaten by the scavengers after they're dead.

Do you have a picture of any dead fish? Or are they just 'gone' ?

What kinds of fish have disappeared? Did this start after adding anything to your tank? What is your current stock?

Fish I have currently;
2 baby occeleris clowns (super sweet, never hurt anything.)
2 black clowns (never hurt anything, sweet too).
And that’s it.
Fish that have died from “it”. They show no signs of parasites before the death. I just find ripped up bodies at the bottom. It’s ALWAYS the fish that sleep at the sand.
Bar goby
3 wrasses
2 mocha clownfish
1 giant mandarin goby (had him for years)
1 PJ cardinal
5 assorted gobies

Ok, when was the addition? Was he QT’ed? The fish you have listed all typically are able to fight off disease for a while until it completely overcomes them.

Fish started dissapearing after the cycle, at first I thought it was my green serpent, removed it and thought it was over, it wasn’t. More fish dissapeared after. I have never seen this pistol shrimp, I just hear a snapping noise at night. The only time I saw it was after I added it, right after the tank cycled

How big is your tank? Did you start with live rock? Perhaps you brought in a predator in some live rock.

Could also be a bobbit worm.. but if you've been starting with everything dry and QT'd I don't know how you would've gotten one of those in your tank.
Bobbit worm! Thats the one I was thinking of, thank you. After I posted I went back and reread the OP, starting with everything dry, theres no way one could be in there. Definitely worth a look at night though.
