I have a Rabbitfish and when it poops…it poops. The entire 6 foot display turns into a whirlwind of flakey digestive material.

No logs. It’s just about 30 seconds of mess that comes out. The diet is mainly nori, brine and mysis. Is this normal for a fish like this? I figured it was but then I read threads about tangs that have poop corners. I’d take a poop corner over this any day.

I realize a Rabbitfish is an omnivore but I assume this poop is due to nori.

Like diarrhea?

Kinda? Here is what it looks like. Bad picture because of the blues, but it’s a bit like tissue paper.

Interestingly enough, I caught the fish eating coral yesterday so I trapped it and donated it to the LFS so it isn’t a problem anymore.

What kind of coral was it eating?
