Hermit rock climbers

I have three scarlet hermit crabs in my 40 gallon breeder tank and all they want to do is climb the rock I have in the tank. Not one of them comes down and digs around in the sand. I have moved one of the crabs twice off of the rocks and he just immediately climbs back up! Anyone else experience this? I do have an electric blue hermit who does about 5-10 laps around the tanks a day and cleans up literally all of the left over food. He keeps the tank spotless. Are scarlet hermits known to be rock lovers?

Honestly they will go any and everywhere. Really nothing you can do but let them do what they want to do.

My scarlets are mostly on the rock although i try to feed same time everyday, sometime they are ready on the sand to find fish food.
