All I did was Google " begginner corals " then get information on them with light/flow/ placement in tank/ growth rates plus lots more then make decision on what I wanted and more importantly the care that needed to keep them alive and hopefully thriving.
So imo get lots info on whatever going in your tank and have a plan and try stick to it best of your ability

The other is for LPS mainly. I don't know much about LPS. I can delete it if it is an issue.Btw you got 2 threads going same time titled same but first post in each thread similar but little different lol
