Came with The wet/dry sump and eshopps s-120
Not bad for $100 imo. After some sanding and buffing and a 6 pack and repainting cabinet all of 8 hours got to do a water test

please excuse the dirty back panel but very pleased with the outcome.

Wasn’t a fan of the sump so I added another baffle to start a the first chamber into a refugium but I’m not a fan of that either because the slimmer and return are in the same chamber witch the water level fluctuates to much for skimmer to operate at its best ability so I’m in progress of building a new sump out of a 20gallon long. Plus I put to light of sand in the sump so the sand goes everywhere lol.

You did a lot of work restoring the tank and all. Nice job. On the return pump you might want to replace a part of the pvc connecting to the pump with silicone tubing to minimize sound/vibration.

+1

Great point! This will make more of a difference than you might imagine. Also some people try to get by with clear plastic tubing made of something other than silicone - IMO it is worth the bother to get the silicone tubing from BRS (or some other comparable source).

New here, name is Lucas from santa rosa, ca
Been in the saltwater game for 5 months now but been keeping freshwater for the past 10 years. Started my saltwater with 29gallon aqueon Fowler that sprung a nasty leak. Luckily found a used 75 gallon truvu acrylic for dirt cheap same day. Refinished it now it’s looking good. Once its morestable and diatoms go away will be excited turn into my fist reef tank
