Hey guys!! I've been lurking around for quite awhile now, so here goes! Oh, I'll also get some pics up in a bit if that is allowed for new users...

So this tank was an upgrade from my 75g I had up and running for about 3 years. Officially, the Red Sea S500 (120g) was set up around the second week of December, so it's a young tank for sure...lots of frags right now... I have to say, this tank is like a Cadillac with regards to maintenance and ease of access, and I am super happy with this decision!

Anyway, on to the stats!

Equipment

Skimmer--Red Sea C-Skim (supplied)
Lighting--10 bulb T5HO (supplied)
Sump--15g sump refugium (supplied)
Flow--3 740gph circulation pumps along the back wall (supplied), 2 Maxspect XF150 Gyres, and 2 modded Tunze 6025s for flow along the back wall. Total system flow including return, 12,000-14,000gph.
Dosing--Bubble Magus Dosing Pump for Ca/Alk/Mg
ATO--Integrated 7 gallon gravity fed ATO.
Chemical Filtration--BRS Dual Media Reactor for GFO and Carbon.

This tank is definitely SPS heavy (primarily frags at this point) with a smattering of Z&P's and LPS. Fish wise, there are a ton of fish in here. I tried to stratify the fish inhabitants as well as keeping the max size of fully grown fish to about 3-3.5". That, said, there is one kole tang in the system, which is by far, the biggest fish in there. Anyway, on to the livestock list...

Fish

Bonded pair of Melanarus Wrassess--regular spawnings
Bonded pair of Red Velvet Fairy Wrasses--regular spawnings
Bonded pair of Zebra Barred Dartfish--regular spawnings
Bonded pair of Maine Mocha Clowns--regular spawnings
Trio of Blue Reef Chromis--Still have 3!! They have yet to vote anyone off the island!
Flame Hawk
Blue Spot Jawfish
Green Mandarin
Starry Blenny---They said, I think it's a Lawnmower
Geometric Pygmy Hawk
Yellow Coris Wrasse
Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse
Kole Tang

So far so good with this fish load, but inhabitants can always be pulled if aggression ever shows up.

Amazing tank! So do you ever try to raise the fry from the wrasses?

At this point, I haven't even began to entertain the thought lol. My girlfriend's 40b has a pair of clowns that regularly lays eggs, so at some point we are going to try them first. [emoji4]

That should be the Mummy Eye.

Maybe one day I'll be able to contemplate raising a batch.

I am going to test the waters so to speak with chalices soon, if I can keep them I will have to pick that one up!

It's been quite some time since an update here. The tank suffered a partial crash last May unfortunately. There were a lot of acros lost, and the only thing that I can attribute it to is something being in the air. Here in Central Maryland, we had a very nice month last May, and the windows were open for most of the month. I am somewhat surrounded by farmland, and there were times when the smell of pesticide was in the air. While the windows were closed upon smelling this, my only guess is the damage was already done... By the end of June, there were only about 17 original acros left, while all others suffered from a RTN event. All other SPS, LPS, Z&P's, fish, and inverts were all left unharmed, so your guess is as good as mine.

Fast forward to present day, and the tank has made quite a turnaround (fingers crossed). Thankfully, I am a member of our local reef club out here, and with the generosity of many members there, as well as many vendors from R2R, I was back on my feet once the tank settled down back in September. Here are a few pics of how the tank looks today. Thanks for looking!
