Hi everyone and thanks for having me. I go by LA1TX1 and reside in Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas area. I am currently a fresh water 110gl planted tank owner but am looking into switching it over to saltwater on a budget. I am willing to take my time to gather what I need but am always willing to take suggestions and instructions from the professionals and hobbyists. I would love to have live rock and coral. Thanks again and can't wait to delve into it.

Well you can have it all. If you want to keep it simple which is what I am going to do after losing all my yellow cichlids' to Malawi bloat is to do just that. There is a tank done by Aquariums by design featured by REEF Builders very easy beautiful. Otherwise very expensive. I intend to keep using my fluval canister filter, and invest only in new lighting, and a skimmer. Key is correct choice of coral " LPS " and small fish. Maybe ( if you have canister filter ) $1500. As a contrast I have 12k wrapped up into my 90
