I’m not sure how to reply to everybody, but I doubled up on the filter floss and it is rapidly clearing. By morning, it should be pristine. I mean, it’s practically perfect right now. Thanks for your advice, everybody. I’m sure I’ll have more questions as time goes by.

First time reefer. I used some Arag alive sand, not the one with bacteria in it, but the dry kind. I rinsed it several times before sticking it in the tank. It’s been about three days and it’s still cloudy. I just have a sponge filter with ceramic filter media. It has gradually gotten clearer, but I think it’s just the silt settling. I have bio cubes and activated carbon that are not currently in the filter. What filtration media will remove my cloudiness?
