Hi Fin Red Banded Goby Moderate difficulty?

Live Aquaria says Hi Fin Gobies are moderately difficult though.

What makes them challenging? What is your experience with them?


I just picked up a Hi Fin Red Banded Goby (Stonogobiops nematodes) but I am still searching for a Randalls shrimp for him. My Hi Fin is about 2.25"; he is a big boy! I tossed him into a QT and I'm really hoping he eats tomorrow.

They need a decently deep sandbed, and don't really get along with very similar fish

They are not a very difficult fish to care for IMO
