Im from Ciudad Real, little city in middle Spain... Don Quijote and Sancho Panza Land hahahaHello and welcome to R2R!
Where are you in Spain?
I’m helping another Spaniard out here with his new lights.
He is in Barcelona.
I have visited Barcelona, Benidorm, Palma de Majorca, and the Canary Islands.
Some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!
Thanks 4 yoyr comment!!!Well I can tell you what worked for me when I had them after researching
I did a 3 day blackout of the tank, with windows and doors closed and lights off. I also increased flow to the affected areas.
After 3 days when the lights came on the dinos had gone and I believe the increased flow kept them away and they never came back.
The blackout is just like a storm in the ocean and won’t affect the corals etc.
Just what worked for me and I appreciate there can be different types.
And welcome to R2R!
Edit: after seeing the pictures are you sure they are dinos ? Mine had bubbles coming out of their brown ‘snottyness’
Thanks 4 yoyr comment!!!
This is what I've done:
after a few days, Dinos have nearly gone id say.
I have reached phosphates and nitrate and a 3 days black out, also added a venturi air system, so the water have much more oxigen.
I have seen a massive change in the tank, like walls are surprisingly clean with copepods walking around(its been like 3 months of dirty green walls). You might find some dinos on the rocks, but just a little. Next days I'm going to buy copepods and rotifers, and maintaining a controled "high level" of po4, no3... And a controlled rising of photo period. Lets see what happens!!!
