Hey everyone!
Spanish guy living in Sydney here

I’m about to start my new reefing adventure and plan to begin cycling my tank this weekend — super excited about it! Hopefully I don’t mess things up too badly along the way
I’m planning to take things slowly once the cycle is done. Most of my equipment is second-hand, and the live rock I got also came used — one piece even seems to have some zoas on it (at least I think they’re zoas).
Can anyone help me confirm what they are?
Also, quick question — since the rocks came from an established tank, should I place them straight into the water without cycling? Would that give me an instant cycle, and will the zoas survive through it?
I'll make sure to keep you all posted on how everything goes!
Tank is a reefsys 180
Rocks with some Coraline and Zoas
More rocks I'm keeping for the bacteria
