I live in Manchester, England and have been keeping a saltwater aquariums for a good few years now but realise that just when you think you know what you're doing in this hobby it reminds you that you don't and bites you. ;Facepalm

Only recently I've just completed some building improvements to my home resulting in my dream 'fish only' aquarium being built into the wall of our kitchen, however, even at this early stage I have just experienced a nasty outbreak of Marine Velvet which has resulted in all but two of my dozen or so fish being wiped out :(

I'm now going to be looking at an empty tank for the next six weeks until I feel confident that I can re-introduce further inhabitants to my tank.

I'm a member on a couple of saltwater forums in the UK but have only just discovered this one and look forward to joining this reefing community during some hopefully happier times ;)

Welcome to R2R! :D sorry for the outbreak of velvet, its something that a lot of us have dealt with recently. Hopefully your revamped tank will be better than it was! Be sure to do a build thread as you get things going again :)

Welcome to R2R.:) That is a bummer about the Velvet, I look forward to see the comeback.
