In my intro I shared some of the struggles with the first reef tank. It's still up and running and Im still trying to chase the cause of the coral loss.

I wanted to share a before/after pic of the GSP I mentioned that turned red/red brown.. (overnight practically)
Its been like this for ~ 6 mo now.. other than the color it acts relatively normal

I originally thought the color change was due to loss of its zooxanthellae, but I guess if that had been the case it would have just died

below is before and after pic , is this common? any ideas?
