Found this in my rock work tonight. It has tentacles in I'm assuming the head end. Any ideas good or bad guy?

From that angle, it confidently looks like a sea cucumber. That would be score of a sand sifter. How big and how new is the tank?

I second sea cucumber for now. Depending on size and tank volume toxins could become a concern if it doesn't manage to survive in the tank.

Also a sea cucumber. It sifts through sand to find food particles, so, you need enough sand with enough food particles in it. A year old tank at 300 liters should be okay.

Thought that's what it was. Thanks for all the replies. Tank is 8 yrs old. Deep sand bed, lots of rock and peaceful fish.
