Hitchhiker ID please

So for the past two days I have found these little "critters" popping up on my LR. I have a new cluster I found today which makes it 3 clusters so far. Can someone ID these please? I would like to know if this needs to be removed ASAP.

Does it walk around? Or they are just popping up on liverock

Could it be a species of tunicate? Sponge?

They are just popping up on LR, I've never saw anything actually move....

They are like star shaped "pods" that are connected in a cluster

There was some attached to the back glass so I tried scraping them off to get a better pic and they closed up....when I tried to scrape them they just break up and almost dissolve....I haven't added anything to my aquarium in almost 6 months...

That's tunicates. A Botryllus species perhaps.
