HLLE on chocolate tang?

Marking in this photo are in the fishes tail. This type of mark happens on my chocolate relatively often and disappears within a day or two and may show up somewhere else on the fish. I do occasionally have carbon in the tank but small amounts and not for extended periods. It eats like a pig, seems otherwise perfectly happy but i am just wanting to make sure i am doing the best for this fish. Only other tang is a convict and i havnt noticed any spots or marks ever. If the convict gets much fatter i might have to put it on ozempic.

Also, the white spots in the picture are just particles in the tank, none actually on the fish.

I’ve never seen HLLE on a caudal fin like that. Also, HLLE doesn’t come and go like that. Looks like it could be a minor scrape injury.

I may be wrong bot I believe I see whaite dots on tang?
Can you post pics again with bright white light intensity and eliminate blue?

Definitely not seeing any white dots on him. All fish in the tank are from dr reef or went through the full recommended quarantine. Both of my tangs get along great and buddy up with eachother so im not sure what would he beating him up. Got a pair of clowns that can occasionally be aggressive?

I do see some white blotches but no evidence of HLLE. He may be scrapping with another fish, probably the Convict.

My brothers Tomney Tang decided to get anger and fight the my pair of maroons. The female decided that she will put a good sized bite mark on him.

Here is a pic. It’s possible the clowns got to it. HLLE I don’t see it on this fish as the others have started. And if the fish is not breathing fast, if it’s not flashing, or dashing across the tank and so on, it looks to be a healthy fish. Could be tank mates aggression.

Hard to tell much from your Pic. Does look like a good-sized chunk of his Tail is missing and may not completely grow back.

It’s making its way back slowly. Can’t say if intact 100%, but better than what is in the pic.
