Yeah I do have a larger female in there that gives him a hard time when she’s hungry. Other than that she doesn’t mess with him and they have been in the tank for over a year. I’ve seen her grab him by his fins and pull him around before but Nothing lately. He still eats and swims like a champ. It’s hard to say but I have concern when any marks are close to the gills.
If he has no behavioral changes and eats well, I would just keep watch.
Could just be a bite mark.........anyone in your tank might be capable of this, especially, another clown?
Well it turns out my 6 line is being an *******. Thought it was the female clown till it ended up with the same bite marks. Had to sit and watch the tank for like an hour (such a chore lol) and watched the 6 line being a dick. Any ideas to get that to stop? Clowns have been in for over a year. 6 line went in about 2 months ago and this just started the last couple weeks when I posted about the marksLooks more like a bit mark, if it’s the only mark on him.
Love tap, if she wanted him gone, he would have been gone.
Should heal in a month.
