Hey guys still pretty new to this. I have a clownfish that I have started seeing marks on and not sure what it might be. I’ve seen ick before, but not HLLE on clowns only tangs. If anyone is able to try and help me out that would be awesome.

It’s hard to say but I have concern when any marks are close to the gills.
If he has no behavioral changes and eats well, I would just keep watch.
Could just be a bite mark.........anyone in your tank might be capable of this, especially, another clown?

Not HLLE. Are there others marks on his other side?

Yeah I do have a larger female in there that gives him a hard time when she’s hungry. Other than that she doesn’t mess with him and they have been in the tank for over a year. I’ve seen her grab him by his fins and pull him around before but Nothing lately. He still eats and swims like a champ.

Looks more like a bit mark, if it’s the only mark on him.
Love tap, if she wanted him gone, he would have been gone.
Should heal in a month.

Well it turns out my 6 line is being an *******. Thought it was the female clown till it ended up with the same bite marks. Had to sit and watch the tank for like an hour (such a chore lol) and watched the 6 line being a dick. Any ideas to get that to stop? Clowns have been in for over a year. 6 line went in about 2 months ago and this just started the last couple weeks when I posted about the marks
