HOB Calcium Reactor?

Is this a thing? I'm going to have to start dosing soon and I was wondering if this was a thing, just wanting to explore all options.

How big is your tank? Aquamaxx makes a nano HOB calcium reactor. However, anything larger would really be impractical due to the weight of the media IMO.
