Hi all - I just noticed a hole in this leather that seemed to pop up overnight. Is this a critter of some sort that has bored into it? Does this happen normally for some reason? I have not added any new corals to my tank in a while and when I do I dip.

Ideas?

Thanks!

Could be something went in or even out of it. Test your water and see where your at and it it keeps getting larger dip it.

Yeah I dont like the looks of that. Check it out a couple hours after the lights are out. But I would dip it just down where the hole is then qt it for a couple hours. You may see the critter come out of it.

I took a look after the lights were out for a few hours and didn't notice anything other than the hole. I think dipping is a good idea to be on the safe side.

I will dip and let you know if anything crawls out!

Thanks

Ron
