Zip ties that's what I used

+1 to zip ties. If you dont want to use all egg-crate, you can use PVC as the 'legs' and drill hold it it to attach the pvc to eggcrate with zipties. That's what I did when I needed a quick frag rack.

Im going to use PVC and super glue the pvc to the egg crate, I've used zip ties before and i can never get it even lol

you shouldn't have problem growing sps with that light on a 16" tall tank.

Pictures will be posted as I start tonight! Going to go with a three level rack.

Front level is going to be low

Back left high

Back right medium

Back middle left open for filter and heater

i use a reciprocating saw with a fine tooth blade(for metals) to cut pvc. wood blades have a tendency to break chunks off. sanding it will work but idk how much work its goin to be if your trying to do it by hand.

I may just rent a sander for a day, or just try to do it by hand, I'm in no rush

It would free up space to suspend from above. My idea could easily be adapted for multiple levels.

They make PVC saws, they're wide so they cut straight. Or just mark the pipe all the way around. Or if I'm in a hurry I'll use a large flat file. I do a lot of plumbing, sorry.

Well, the better half wants black sand in this tank (its in her work out room so i cant say no lol) so im going to just buy the sand, this way i have no manual labor to do bc putting a 2 inch sand bed down will even out all the pvc, boom, problem solved lol
