Context? What am I missing? They look like clove polyps to my old eyes.

I’m not sure that they’re bad, they could be clove polyps but they’re almost clear without going full blues and orange glasses, I have no clue how long they’ve been there, as long as it’s not something that’ll fight my monti to hard I’m good with them there just curious as to what they are.

It’s Branchiomma sp.

I'm not sure if this is just a weird reflection. If the left and the right one have exactly 8 tentacles it might be some soft coral, namely Octocorallia.

If the left one really has more, it's something else, probably a tube worm/feather duster (something like a Sabellidae or Serpulidae). You can follow the replies from ISpeakForTheSeas here for more details on the identification process: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/glowing-fluorescent-tube-worm.1061171/

This does fit the bill! Looks very very similar,

The ones in the post you shared to clarify, would be cool if it was that octop coral but definitely more like the feather dusters!
