Off topic of reefs but I could use some plumbing help. I have a bulkhead so to speak that has a 1/4” hose into it. I rigged it up from what was there as it was leaking. Well it still is. Leaks where the hose enters the bulk head. Thoughts.

If that is some kind of compression fitting it will need an insert to compress against, tubing just collapses in on itself and doesn’t stay water tight. Can you swap the compression piece out for a barbed fitting maybe?

Believe is just a water supply and not hooked to the jet pump. However there’sa good bit of water pressure there I think.

Is there a Spray sealer I can use?

Whether it is a supply line or pressurized by the pump doesn’t Shane whether it’s a compression fitting or not. If the tube goes through a hole in the nut then it is most likely a compression fitting. A spray sealer won’t solve your problem.

The setup is basically a whole in the tube that has a hose connection supplying water to a compartment that has a vertical up and down jet. When I did the repair a couple years, I removed all the existing. Drilled a 1/4” hole in the casing. Used a small plastic bulkhead that had the 1/4” tube insert into it. The tube to bulkhead connection is what’s failing.

Do the make brass bulkheads?
