It can be a challenge to keep Acropora healthy. They are (arguably) one of the harder corals to keep alive and happy in our reefing world. How are your's doing?

Ah hem, the acros I bought as test sticks… well. They’re dead. However the new acro test sticks are acclimating as well speak… new to the tank world and it’s about 9-10 months old but had a lot of swings and inconsistencies. Butttttt I have been dialing it in since I got a doser and a huge ATO resivour… so I have hope for this batch.

What the beautiful red one in the first image? I've been trying to find a nice red piece to add
The old school red dragon.. always been one of my favorites

Nice. I tried a frag from tidal gardens once but it didn't last. I need to try it again now that I have an acro tank that seems to be doing well now that it's matured a bit.

It’s always been one of those corals that’s hard to acclimate.. it does love to peel so just keep cutting it above the peeling flesh until it takes hold then watch out! Grows like a weed! Haha!

I have some that were healthy and acclimate from my LFS that are doing awesome, some that I got from my LFS as fresh cuts and they are puddling and looking better by the day. Then I have a set I picked up from a local reefer who obviously didn’t have them in the best conditions so I’m rehabbing them and they look better than when I got them.
There’s an example of each category here.

Amazing coloration!

Are you doing anything to keep them from growing into each other or just let them fight it out?
Fighting and cutting if it gets bad! I didn’t expect such fast growth lol.. I planted them 4” apart and made a rookie mistake!
