Paper towel wrapped around the finger, dip into tank water, rub it all down, then followed up with a dry paper towel wrapped around the finger, careful not to get the dry one wet. Pita, esp if it bothers you

Mine gets a light scrub weekly with my sponge/scourer dedicated to the aquarium when I turn on cleaning mode (return and wavemaker off). Every few weeks I put the stainless blade in my Tunze Long scraper to remove the more stubborn algae spots on the glass and when I do I always run this around the front and both sides at the top to remove the salt and carbonate lines. I haven’t had to get the razor blade out yet (tank is 2YO) but will do so if I see a buildup my regular cleaning isn’t dealing with.
