How do you get your chalice to eat?

Is there a process to 'train' the coral to feed? How'd you go about it?

At night when the feeders come out, they should just come out no need to train them.. ( =

Do you check like 2-3 hours after the lights go out maybe?

FWIW, I got a pink watermelon chalice that was pretty tiny, only one eye. It didn't extend its feeder tentacles for a couple of weeks. I chalked it up to the chalice settling in. A few nights back I finally noticed tiny feeder tentacles out and took the opportunity to squirt some cyclo into it's grasp. HTH

Ive got around 40 or so chalices and about 10 will not put out feeders to eat so I say not all will eat
