I'm getting ready to start my IM 112 Ga lagoon build. The tank is 3'x3'x20" so while shallow, I have a lot of surface area to cover.
I have a first generation AI Hydra 26 HD on my little 25 gallon at work that I upgraded the puck with a Luxdium Cyan (what an upgrade!). It's a solid little light but reading reviews it seems AI has really gone the way of most things and quality has been suffering. I don't mind spending what I need to for quality and performance, I don't want to spend money for garbage.

Goal will be a mixed reef but definitely want it lit for SPS. I'm not SUPER technical so I don't need all the bells and whistles, and I don't take a lot of pleasure in tweaking color spectrums. For my little 25 I just picked a preset I liked and ran with it.

Tank is in a partially finished basement and I have the option to mount or hang. Was actually leaning hung so it keeps the tank open and free.

I appreciate any insight and experience! Thank you in advance.

It feels like the UNPOPULAR opinion but I love my EcoTech Radion :) I have a G6 pro over my Reefer 170 and I have no complaints
I’m actually keenly interested in replacing my red. Sea led 99 with xr15 g6. Does the Radion help reduce shadows?

Just setting up 24" cube and the new Noopsyche IV appears to be good bang for your buck according to reports.

I'm a long way off livestock but the light, I find it fine and spread is very even over my cube.

I've not got any settings sorted yet but this is very minimal output because I was testing something.

I have the 112 INT and I'll be using a Straton X on it the same as I have on my 50 Lagoon. I emailed ATI and they thought 1 would be fine for the 3x3 area as long as it wasn't an SPS dominant tank. After living with it on the 50 I believe it.

My current 6 month old 112 growout system
400 watt Radium 20k halide and 2 24" 15k edge bars.
Note actual tank depth when filled is 17".
