Hey guys just wondering how you take your top down macro shots..

my hands are shakey so using a tripod is a must.. what rig do you all use or do you shoot it free hand?

I use avast port hole and rest it against the side of the tank...

I use the same.

Me too, though I don't always rest it against the side of the tank. Depending on your lens, and available light, you may be able to speed up the shutter, compensating for your shaky hands.

I'll have to look into them.

Last I inquired with Avast, they're going to discontinue the shorter porthole.
