How long do you wait until...

You start causing a fuss with a person you are buying from ?

I bought some stuff and paid last Sunday via PayPal. Communication was pretty dang good until the beginning of the week then it was a little more spaced out and I would have to text more and more to get a response but was not pushy.. I asked Tuesday when he thought the stuff would be shipped they said " Today or Wednesday,which I was fine with. Thursday no response,then resent the same text Friday afternoon and he stated his wife had shipped that evening. I asked for shipping and have yet to hear back with tracking..... and sent him a text a few moments ago asking yet again for tracking that I have not gotten yet.

So back to my original question,how long until you start getting pushy or even file a claim ? I really do not want to,I just wish people would freakin' communicate. I don't feel like I am being impatient,a weeks time ( Sun-Sun) is a good enough time to get your money and shipping the stuff to the buyer.. Sometimes this stuff just gets so frustrating. Makes me wanna file a claim until I get my stuff then send him his money back lol.

I don’t think you are being unreasonable. More than enough time to try.
This is coming from someone that works 60-70 hours a week plus 2-3 hours of commuting a day and no access to my phone or internet when at work.

if I’m running late I communicate in the evening and most buyers are ok with that as long as you keep them in the loop communication wise and do not make it a major inconvenience to them.

Seems 99% of the time we blow situations like this out of proportion in our minds. Myself included. It is hard for some to get a break during the day to properly pack and ship a item.

Personally I’d wait til Tuesday before I’d go off the deep end.

Hope it’s just one of those misunderstandings on his part.

@Jay Z @Titlowda1 I have absolutely no problem waiting on a product if you communicate,I know people have lives and that does not bother me. But keep me in a loop and just let me know. But once I sent the money, I did not ask about the items being shipped out until Tuesday,then didn't text them again until Thursday,then Friday and lastly this evening. If I don't hear anything back by the morning,I may just file a claim until I get my stuff and then send it back to him. At this point I just sent the person $55 just to have.

I mean I wok with an incredibly strict Super,and I am not allowed to use my phone besides for lunch,and I can still slip in a text to my wife or even him here and there just to say something real quick. Just frustrating I guess.

I fully understand where your coming from.

If no response run the claim. They will instantly pull the money from his account and escrow it. Balls in his court after that.
Worse goes to worse your funds should be returned around 2 weeks.

I feel ya on waiting. I ordered a couple items from someone on this site and paid right away. They contacted me back saying they were out of material and waiting for more. Could take a couple weeks or so. He asked if I wanted my money back. I told him just to hold on to it unless the materials don’t show up. I was in no hurry.

I know I would definitely get my funds back,so its no biggie I would just HATE to do it and he actually sent the product out and he just didn't take the time to send me the tracking. Not everyone is bad and insanely pushy and I try not to be with anyone. Like you,I have tried to be basically the aamw way but there hasn't been too much to go on from the person.
