How long should I leave a molt

My electric blue hermit crab molted two days ago but still has exoskeleton next to him I know most eat it so how long should I leave it in the tank before removing it

don't bother removing it. it does nothing to your water quality and just provides a source of food/calcium to your invertebrates.

The inverts will eat it for their own calcium needs. Parts of natures' wonders

I don't remove them unless they end up stuck to a powerhead.
