I added a yellow tang to my tank that is smaller than my bristletooth whitetail tang. The yellow was in an acclimation box but the whitetail showed no interest in it. Then I let it out and all hell broke loose with the tang bullying and chasing the yellow.

I put a mirror on the tank and the whitetail has spent the last day attacking his reflection and leaving the yellow alone. It’s all he does when he’s not eating.

How long should I leave the mirror up?

Three to Four Days, and I take it down to see, if there’s going to be a problem. Also I have Clam Shells in the back of my Aquarium, for a place my Yellow Tang can hide. If you look closely, you can see the Tangs Tail

That mirror is causing unhealthy behavior. I would remove it. If the fish continue to fight, remove one.
