How many clowns

How long have they been in there already? I'm not a fan of introducing more clowns into a system that's already got clowns. If you're willing to risk it, try and rescape when you add the newcomers. It helps to throw off the already established territories.

I have read many threads that started out with the person adding multiple pairs of clownfish to a tank. Everything started out fine but once the clownfish matured they started dying off. It has been done but those tanks had multiple anemones to host and more space. Good luck.

I have 3 ocellaris clowns in my 55 and they have been together for about a year. I'm not sure how well it will work permanently. If you decide to add more, make sure you have a solid backup plan if and when there are aggression issues. I have another tank setup for the clowns to get moved to.
