Does this more or less translate to the reef 2 reef app being somewhat deprecated?

I keep getting weird screen size auto-detection:

Uploading a pic on the camera phone from the mobile site was surprisingly easy!

Using an iPhone 5s.

Still getting used to it a little bit, but I like the mobile site.

The text editing is superior, and media uploading does not seem to be any worse.

Notifications are the only thing "missing" I think.

I use it to stay updated and follow conversations while I'm away from home. It works great for me.

When Im away from my computer (a lot) I use it on my iPad and iPhone. I use it so much it's on my google chrome home page or what ever its called when your first open chrome and it gives you the box's of the sites you visit the most. No TT for me. Works great!!!

I know many of you use the app and tapatalk but I wanted to see how many of you were using your mobile device to connect straight to R2R?

This is what it looks like on an iphone. It looks better on larger devices and well as when you turn your phone to landscape view!

If you open up your browser on your mobile device and type is Reef2Reef.com you can see the mobile version of the site. I highly encourage our mobile users to skip the tapatalk app and just use your browser to surf R2R.

Why? Because you get to really see all the things we have to offer and you don't miss anything!

Here is how you set up a link on your mobile device.

1. Go to your mobile browser and open up Reef2Reef.com or search Reef2Reef via your google app.

2. Click the little icon in the following photo. (you'll need to be scrolled to the top of the R2R page to see this share icon)

3. Next click the circled icon which will add a link on your home screen.

4. Change the name to shorten it to whatever you like. Maybe R2R. :)

5. Click ADD and enjoy! (I'm working on a better app icon. ;)

This may vary from device to device but it gives you the general idea!

For Android, follow these instructions:

The only time I use my computer to get on here is when I need to see a bigger photo to better ID something, other than that I'm on my phone. I've never used tapatalk.

Access the full site on an iPhone too. [emoji3]
I use Tapatalk because I get notifications and easy to access pictures on the phone and free image and video hosting. Plus it keeps all my reef forums in one place.
