Born in Puerto Rico, start reefing there back in the early 80', move to Miami after retirement from the Army six years ago. Retook the hobby there three years ago and now this is my first year and half in Tampa.

Cape Coral, FL. It's west of Ft Myers and east of Sanibel Island!

And for those that live on the Gulf of Mexico side of the state (or anybody for that matter) you might look at the Snorkeling & Collecting thread link in my signature below. There is a lot about Florida Keys but I also do SW Florida beach walks and collect may sea creatures actually off the beach (not even in the water)! Anemones, shrimp, crabs, stars, cucumbers, gorgonians, clams, fighting conch, mangrove propagules and more!

This thread makes me home sick....

Born and raised in St Pete, moved out, moved back in to Destin area and now i am stuck in Texas. I miss home, especially the palm bay area.

Ocala

(regularly go to Orlando, Tampa, and Ft. Myers for anyone that wants to trade)
